Asia Pacific Internet Engineering Program (APIE) - SOI Asia APIE Program

An one week Workshop is announced by SOI Asia as a APIE Camp to be held at Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Pulchwok Campus. Foreign students as well as students form IOE Pulchowk Campus joined the Camp where professors and industry experts run the workshop with many events that provide a project-based intensive curriculum for network design and implementation. 

This camp was previously conducted at many countries including Japan, Indonesia, Malasia, while this is the 11th Camp announced to be held at IOE, TU. Such camp deepen technical and collaborative skills by designing, developing, and presenting Internet-enabled solutions to real-world challenges.

The APIE Course is designed for students from SOI Asia partner institutions who wish to develop foundational knowledge of Internet technologies and practical skills in network engineering and Internet operations. Topics cover key technologies for internet operation, practical skills to operate the global Internet, and your role as a member of the Internet operation collaborative community all over the world. This course also gives you an opportunity to try out your skill in a hands-on environment.

The course supports learners seeking to strengthen their technical competencies and prepare for future academic and professional opportunities in the Internet ecosystem.

Eligibility for the APIE Camp requires the completion of the APIE Core Course components. The APIE Advanced Camp is open for students who have attended any previous APIE Camps.

The program is free to join and a scholarship for travel expenses will be provided. SOI Asia will issue acertificate and a digital badge on Inxignia platform for your participation and completion of the assignments.
